wonder if non-members will see this network activity on my wall?

I want to begin a global based learning activity in my classroom, where my students are working with a classroom from another country on a project.  Unfortunately, nobody in my school has done something like this before, so I am seeking out answers to a few questions I have.  Any ideas would be helpful.... How did you go about setting up your first web-based global activity? Are there any types of web-based global activities that you can recommend for someone who is trying this for the first time?

On the initial Learncentral login screen, the Register button is very prominent, while the go button to execute the login is much less so. The button to click to login should be larger and more dominant than the register button.

Hi, Just to let you know that the activation of a new account failed when using Firefox (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100202 Firefox/3.5.8 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)) - it simply gave an error to contact the administrator. Worked fine in IE7 though. (Good job I was using my window box!)   Tim  

LC Members - We are currently investigating the date/time issue related to the Daylight Savings Time change this weekend. Event times appear to be off by one hour, but in the wrong direction. For example, if you are in Pacific Time, you will see an event start time of 11a, but it should be 10a. We'll have this fixed shortly and our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. g

Am wondering how to connect with existing members in learncentral. I tried using the Network | Browse Members function, and it seems to fail or not work at all. Do I need to join a Group with the other person that I wish to connect with, before I can add them to my list of friends (or colleagues)?
