    The Post-Crescent, 22-02-10 Read article. While the Legislative Audit Bureau report revealed where virtual charter schools are thriving — such as higher reading scores — it also pointed out that students in virtual classroom generally scored lower in math than the general school population, and, more troubling, teachers in one district did not meet a state requirement to be licensed in the grade levels and subjects they teach.

    Here are some links to articles written by Elluminate customers. "Virtual Spaces: Employing a Synchronous Online Classroom to Facilitate Student Engagement in Online Learning" by J. Lynn McBrien and Phyllis Jones of the University of South Florida and Rui Cheng, Nazareth College analyzes student data from six undergraduate and graduate courses related to the use of a virtual classroom space (Elluminate Live!) Particular themes emerged related to dialogue, structure, and learner autonomy.
