While the Legislative Audit Bureau report revealed where virtual charter schools are thriving — such as higher reading scores — it also pointed out that students in virtual classroom generally scored lower in math than the general school population, and, more troubling, teachers in one district did not meet a state requirement to be licensed in the grade levels and subjects they teach.
