I have a computer game recommendation or two to toss in. I will work on getting that in to the network. One of my favorite software titles, Chemicus, for adding some fun to the instruction of chemistry is no longer available and it is getting harder and harder to find copies of the software. This unavailablility may make its mention of small use to teachers of chemistry, but perhaps some of the comments about the game's pros and cons from an instructor's persepctive will be useful to developers in the network.
I also use a few lab simulations. Does your group consider simulations within the scope of your network? I really like Virtual ChemLab. The 3-D graphics are far superior to many of the lab simulations avaialble in other titles, the science is very sound, and the kids can work with the material beyond the scripted lab manual to explore concepts and interactions. Finding ways to blow things up in the simulation seems to be a big hit. ;0)
